High memory usage since 5.0

since upgrading to version 5.0 we are seeing high memory consumption by the Universal.Server process. we run most of our scripts on a hourly schedule and since the upgrade the server seems to have an ever increasing memory consumption every hour that will at some point cause the whole OS to freeze.
