Hi info71,

Currently, RDM only works with the native package install of RustDesk and searches for its binaries. We will look into remedying this issue and get back to you when we have any news to share.

Best regards.

Hi again info71,

Just so we are sure to have the full picture, is your RDM installed via Flatpak as well?

Hi @info71,

I'm afraid we misunderstood the issue and resolved another edge-case that wasn't quite what you needed. Coming out with a fix to call the sandboxed RustDesk process will take a little longer. In the meantime, we strongly recommend installing RustDesk via the native package install instead of Flatpak. It should resolve the issue while we look for a fix and it's also what the RustDesk installation page recommends doing.

Best regards,

Nicolas Parr
