Credentials folder

avatar

Good afternoon,

I'm writing to ask for your help.

I have a Credentials folder, and I don't want anyone to see its structure, but the remote sessions are linked to the passwords.

Is this possible?

Thank you very much.

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out regarding this matter.

You should be able to configure this as needed. Please note that administrators will always have visibility of the folder structure.

To prevent users from seeing the folder structure, you can remove their view permissions from the top-level folder and ensure that the subfolder inherits the appropriate permissions. Additionally, you may need to remove the “view password” permission from the entry associated with those credentials.

Please let me know if this resolves the issue or if you have any further questions.

Best regards,

Good afternoon,

I might be doing something wrong.

But when I disable the "view" option and try to access the remote session, it asks for the password.

When I enable "view," it logs in automatically.

Thank you for your help.

Hello,

Thank you for the follow-up and for your patience.

Apologies for the delayed response and for the misleading information in my initial reply. For credential injection to be available, you will need view permissions on the entry. You may remove the view password permission, which I believe would be the most appropriate setting for your use case.

Thank you again for your patience. Please feel free to let me know your thoughts.

I look forward to your reply.

Best regards,
