Hello,
I am a bit lost here. I am trying to use Devloutions Server as a gateway for our users to see all the VMs on our Failover cluster in one place. I have installed server with Domain authentication, which works, and added a Hyper-V Dashboard. When I hard-code my domain credentials in the username/password field, the connection works. I am unsure how to pass the current session credentials to the Dashboard entry to authenticate.
I have tried using both Launcher and RDM on the latest versions of each.
Thanks,
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to us regarding this,
Could you confirm which version of DVLS/RDM you are currently using?
That being said, to clarify, do you mean that you would like each user to use their own credentials for the Hyper-V Dashboard entry?
Let me know,
Best regards,
Samuel Dery
Hi Samuel,
RDM 2025.3.25.0 DVLS 2025.3.8.0
Yes, I would like each user to connect with their own credentials for the Hyper-V Dashboard Entry.
Thanks,
Hello,
In that case, you should be able to use the user-specific settings.
Under File → My Account Settings -> my personal credentials, the user can view and change their own credentials.
Then in the entry property you should be able to replace the existing (hard coded) credentials with my personal credentials which will refer to the credential each user set on there end.
Best regards,
Carl Marien
