Linux - Syntax Highlighting for SSH connections

I'm a heavy Linux user and I'm constanly SSH into switches/routers/firewalls to configure and modify them. I notice that on the Linux version of RDM, there is no cofiguration setting to configure sytax highlighting, but there is on the Windows version of RDM. The syntax highlighting feature is very helpful in pointing out things out and help put visual focuse on specificy things more quicker.

I've used syntax highlighting in my other apps I use, it would be nice to have on my Linux RDM applicaiton.
