Import Session Wizard Not Responding

Import Session Wizard Not Responding

avatar

Hi,

I've recently started using the trial version of enterprise edition after using the standard edition for quite some time. Great product! I requested the trial to see if I could import sessions from active directory, however, I'm experiencing the following problem:

When I open the Import Session Wizard, select "Network/Active Directory", and click "Next" the application just seems to hang ("Not Responding") indefinitely. Is this a known issue or is there a work around to this problem?

Note that I am an active directory domain admin, and can browse and edit any object in our domain. I can browse active directory even when remote desktop manager hangs. Also, I'm running it in Windows 7.

Please advise,
Thanks,
Kyle

Hi,
What you can try is to go in the Option, the advanced tab. you will see at the bottom right and series of option for the import. You can try to set resolve IP to uncheck and try one at the time for the other two options.

Let me know.

Hi David,

I went to File > Options... >

I found the following tabs General | Templates | Installation Path | Session Type | Trayicon | Advanced

I clicked Advanced, and under it I see two headings Console Connection and Misc.

In neither section do I see a checkbox for resolve IP.

These are the checkboxes available:

I am using Enterprise Edition 5.6.3.0.

Any other ideas???

Hi
It's in the latest version and it's not available in the auto update. You can download it from our web site.
