"This protocol is not supported" error when connecting using templates.
I deployed a devolutions gateway as a POC for our high security environments. We have been long time users of RDM and DVLS and have a number of existing connections that are configured as "Host" connections that leverage assigned templates.
When the connection is reconfigured to use the Gateway, it immediately fails with the error message stating that the "Host" Connection type is unsupported. In reality, I'm not trying to launch a "Host" connection, I'm launching an SSH or a Web session using information from the Host entry.

Hello Neal,
From what I understand, Remote Desktop Manager does not currently support configuring a Devolutions Gateway through “Host” connections or assigned templates.
I’ll check internally to see if there’s already a ticket open for this and will get back to you shortly with more information.
Best regards,
Benoit Cortier
Hello,
Thanks for your patience, I'm back with an update.
From what I understand, this was initially difficult to implement due to limitations in the system's original design. However, that blocker has recently been resolved, and we now have a task planned to move this forward.
The ticket has been linked to this thread, so we’ll keep you posted as progress is made. As a rough estimate, we're aiming to fit this into our current development cycle, which wraps up in September.
Best regards,
Benoit Cortier
That's great news! I look forward to hearing from you.
