Web Client - Devolutions Gateway not inherited and leads to greyed out web client

Using 2024.3.6.0 - Devolutions Gateway is configured on a folder and the RDP entries in the folder are set to inherit gateway settings. RDM properly inherits and uses the gateway for the connection. However, on the web client, it shows "Inherit" but the web RDP button is greyed out ("Devolutions Gateway must be configured on the connection before the web client can be used"). Changing the gateway settings directly on the entry corrects the issue, but this requires batch editing to maintain across all entries, instead of inheritance.

I checked release notes for newer versions and didn't see an indication of this being resolved in a particular version.
