copy and paste doesn't work

Hello, I'm using Remote Desktop Manager, the latest version, it's up to date, I can't copy files between my Linux Mint and remote Windows sessions, I also can't copy texts, neither from my Linux machine to the remote Windows machines, nor from the remote Windows machines to my machine. Any solution? The Clipboard is already checked in the settings.

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to Devolutions Support.

I was unable to reproduce either of your issues on an Ubuntu VM.

Regarding the first issue (unable to copy text), could you try recreating the entry and check if the issue persists?

For the second issue (unable to copy files), this behavior is expected, as file copying is not supported. I recommend going to the entry properties -> Local Devices and Resources, then checking the "Hard Drives" option and enabling "Redirect all disk drives."

This option should allow you to access your local hard drive from the machine you are connected to via File Explorer.

Best regards,

Thank you for your reply. I was able to copy files by redirecting the drives as explained. However, copying text works on remote access to Linux machines, but not on Windows machines, even after deleting and recreating the entry.

But after much thought, I managed to do it by going to the keyboard options within Remote Desktop. The Copy and Paste shortcuts were empty. I set the same ones to CTRL C and CTRL V and I was able to copy texts now.

Thank you very much.
