:Issue with "Automatically Open File Transfer Tab" in Remote Desktop Manager linux version

Dear Support Team,

I am currently using Remote Desktop Manager and have created an SSH connection within the application. I enabled the option "Automatically open file transfer tab", but after connecting to the session, the file transfer tab does not open as expected.

Here are some details about my setup:

OS: Ubuntu 24.04
Remote Desktop Manager version: Latest (updated to the most recent version available).

I would appreciate it if you could guide me on resolving this issue or let me know if additional configuration is required.

Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards,

Hello Bahram,

This feature is not yet available in RDM Linux, but we are actively working on it. We will let you know once it is implemented.

Hello,

Firstly, as Gabriel mentioned, the "Automatically open file transfer tab" feature is not currently supported in RDM Linux. This functionality has been categorized as a feature request, and I will move this forum thread to the feature request category.

Secondly, it is currently not possible in RDM Linux to use a template to open a session
as another type. After consulting with the development team (Gabriel), we have
identified this as a bug. To address this, I have created a new forum post,
which you can view here:
https://forum.devolutions.net/topics/43545/opening-a-session-using-a-template.

Lastly, I noticed that the "Open as SFTP" and "Open as SCP" options
are missing in the "Open with parameter" menu in RDM Linux. To
address this, I have submitted a feature request to include these options. You
can find the request here:
https://forum.devolutions.net/topics/43546/add-open-as-sftp-and-open-as-scp-in-the-open-with-parameter-menu.

Thank you for bringing these matters to our attention.

Best regards,

Carl Marien
