Unable to set application password in Launcher

Hello,

When a Hub Business instance is configured to 'Force application password on RDM', users using Launcher are unable to access the datasource, because Launcher does not have anywhere to set the application password.

Ideally, there would be seperate options for forcing application passwords for RDM vs Launcher. In some cases, an application password is less relevant when using Launcher, as the respective users typlically have restricted access to connections within a datasource.

Hello,

We've added support for the Application Password in the Launcher. This should solve the problem. You can expect these changes to take effect for the 2024.3.16 version.

Thanks Jafran. Will there be a way to disable the App Password for Launcher, while still keeping it enabled for RDM?

For now, this option applies to both RDM and Launcher. If you feel like this additional option would be useful, feel free to make a feature request.
