Server Logo at Login and WebUi

Hi All

I just updated yesterday DVLS from latest 2023 to 2024.1.13.0 and im just wondering, why you use the same Server Logo on White Background at the Login Screen and now also in the ugly black Sidebar in the UI.
In 2023 Version the "small" Image was used above the Sidebar. But now the small Image is not in use anymore.
The Problem in our Case is, that we have Black or White Font in our Logo (depending on Background).
And since DVLS uses for Both Black and White Background the same Server Logo, im a little screwed.

Is it possible to fix that issue?

Hello Andreas,

You are right that we could have handled things differently, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We have added a task to our backlog to improve the way we manage the logos, and we will inform you once the fix is implemented.

As a side note, the small logo is still used when you retract the black sidebar. You can do this by hovering over the sidebar and clicking on the button next to the logo.

Thanks for your answer and for clearify it witch the small Logo.
It would be great to have an Option to add a Logo for Dark and Light Backgrounds which also should be changed when using Light Mode, Dark Mode or even at Login Screen (depending on the specific Background).

Hello Andreas,

This is exactly how we plan to improve that, allowing users to upload different logos for dark/light backgrounds. I have already created the ticket in our backlog. It should not be too hard to add. We will post back here once we have an update.
