Hi guys, First great work on improving the Linux version of the RDM software. That said, a question: Are there plans to create a repository so we can just apt update or dnf update rather than downloading new versions manually from the website?
Hi !
Thank you for reaching out, we do have a repository and we are in the process of finalizing the installation documentation.
We are using Cloudsmith to host our package which means that it requires a little setup before being able to use your package manager. In the meantime, I can send you the instructions to set it up !
Cheers,
David Ringuet
Just saw this but yep; I'd be greatly appreciative of this.
for now, you can head to https://cloudsmith.io/~devolutions/repos/rdm/groups/ and follow their setup instructions to set up the repo, once that's done it will be as easy as using your package manager to install rdm! (please note the package's name is remotedesktopmanager on the Cloudsmith repo)
Hope this helps !
