No backup Notification mail is beeing send in version 2024.1.4.0
after the upgrade to 2024.1.4.0 no backup notifcation mail is beeing send after completion of the backup.
SMTP test is OK mail is beeing recieved
mfa code by mail test is OK mail is beeing recieved
so the SMTP setting are ok and working but there are no notification anymore beeing sent after completion of the backup

this is maybe a solution for a user but in the previous version we had does mail sent to shared mailbox address who isn't a user in devolution
i can confrim this is working for my user, but how to setup this again for just a email address?

You are right, this option was removed from the backup manager since we reworked how notification works. To achieve the same behavior, you will need to create a Subscriber under Administration > Notification > Subscriber.
Once the subscriber is configured, you will need to configure a subscription under Administration > Notifications > Subscriptions. Here is the configuration:

I just tested the subscription and I did get the error messages but not the success messages.
Since the option was removed from the backup manager, the only other possibility would be to set the shared email on an administrative account. Maybe the backup Devolutions Custom account?
I will keep testing the Subscription to see if I might be able to get this working.

At the moment, the subscriptions are not sending the success/failed notification. We've opened an internal case to fix this, and it was now resolved. The fix will be included in our next version of RDM (probably 2024.2.14.0).
