Gateway Server Licensing
Hi there,
I had the free licenses working under Side by Side for the free 5 count. I then wanted to evaluate the full feature set of gateway to test more than the five connections at once and even at one point on a dedicated system. Once the trial key was expired and removed from the deployment I am no longer able to revert back to the free side by side license, even after the dedicated node is removed. The gateway URL is the same as it was before the trial license was added, but I keep getting told no licenses exist and now the functionally is fully broken.
I came across a similar post - https://forum.devolutions.net/topics/39387/devolutions-gateway-side-by-side - but there were no mentions of having a trial key and then the functionally being broken.
DVLS - 2023.2.10
Gateway - 2023.4
This has been broken regardless of the versions/patches I am on once that key was expired/removed.

Hello,
In the 2023.3 version, planned for next week, the Devolutions Gateway free license will be available directly in the license section. You will be able to assign it to the Devolutions Gateway of your choice, even if it is not hosted on the same machine as your Devolutions Server instance, and there will no longer ba a restriction on the Access URI of the Devolutions Gateway either.
Let us know if you need a trial key in the meantime!

There was a miscommunication; the free license will be available in the 2024.1 version, not 2023.3. I will ask our sales team to create a temporary license until April 2024.
