A folder with the same name already exists

Hi

I were planning on renaming all my folder-server entries to be called "$CUSTOM_FIELD2$.$DOMAIN_CUSTOM_FIELD1$"
But upon saving the second entry I get "A folder with the same name already exists"

I have created a ticket for names not resolving and the sort order in RDM isn't correct when using variables in the name.
So I'm curios to know if the above ever will work?

A random thought I got, which would make it work, but I have no idea if it is possible and if it give other issues, but:
If you, in the SQL database, saves the entry name in two one called Name_Resolved and one called Name_Unresolved then every time something needs to show the entry navn, or sort after it, it uses Name_Resolved and when editing the entry it looks in Name_Unresolved and upon saving the Name_Resoved is updated.
And if the Name_Resolved is the PrimKey I would be able to do my above entry name, because it will create a unique Name_Resolved every time.
