hi,
we can see every change of an item and who changed it but cannot see what was changed until we restore to that change.
is there a way to get a diff of the changes made by a user?

Hello,

You are correct, unless you enter a comment manually on the log entry describing the change made to the entry, you cannot see what modification was made until you restore the entry to that change.

Hello,

I just verified and there is a way to compare two versions of the entry from RDM only:

  1. Right-click on the entry
  2. Under view > Entry History
  3. Select two line from the history list
  4. Right-click on the selected line
  5. Select Compare
