AnyIdentity Provider / Scan Configuration buttons for browsing source content/structure

Hello,

When configuring the builtin DVLS PAM provider of type Domain User, there is a button to choose a specific domain controller. Additionaly when configuring a scan configuration for this type of provider, there is a button the browse domain containers for inclusion/exclusion.

Would it be possible to enhance the AnyIdentity template capabilities to support these kind of buttons?

Hello Joe,

Thank you for your suggestion. I would like to have more information to have a better understanding of your request. Would you like to run an extra script when pressing a button and get information from there ? How to you see the interaction with that content after ? What is your goal with a such button ? Is it to help the user to select something instead of using a string field where the user has to know the exact string to set ?

Yes that is correct, the objective is to have a button(s) to run a script and return data for a user to make a selection from.

I've been working on enhancing the AnyIdentity template for Windows Accounts to support scanning Active Directory for computer objects, on which local user accounts are then enumerated. I'd like to be able to include a 'browse containers' button in the scan configuration settings that allows a user to include/exclude multiple specific OU's to scan for computer objects. Basically its the same capability allready available in the scan configuration for the builtin Domain Users type provider.
