Hello,
I have been searching for quite a while and my impression is, that if I purchase a Devolutions Server Subscription then I will not need any additional Remote Desktop Manager Licenses.
I remember having had the impression in the past several years, I am not sure if it has changed.
At this Link https://blog.devolutions.net/2022/03/an-overview-of-devolutions-server-subscription-options-and-additional-tools-modules/
, it says this indirectly:
"Devolutions Server Free
As the name indicates, there is no cost to using Devolutions Server Free. However, customers who choose this option will need to have an active Remote Desktop Enterprise license."
> So, if I do not use Devolutions Server Free, I will not need the Remote Desktop Enterprise License?
Also, in this Licensing PDF (https://cdndevolutions.blob.core.windows.net/documents/licensing/dvls-licensing-en.pdf) from the info button in the store on the last page "Subscription Case Scenario", there is also no mention if I need Licenses for Remote Desktop Manager.
Could you please tell me if my assumptions are (still) correct (if ever)?
Also, I wanted to try the Devolutions Server Free in a Demo installation just to tinker with it a bit - I cannot find any serial for the free edition, the only serial visible is the one I imported manually to see, if the free server license will appear afterwards:
The online documentation of Devolutions Server hints, that there should be a key present in my account.
Thank you in advance for your help,
Marc
