SSH - Send CTRL-C

avatar

Just installed Remote Desktop Manager on my Linux Debian Mint Edition 5 Laptop and very impressed so far.

However, one small issue. When running CLI commands in an SSH session, CTRL-C doesn't seem to get passed across.

I don't have any issues with the native SSH in LMDE5 or with Putty (Linux Edition). Can't seem to find anything in the configs that might be relevant, so would be grateful for any pointers.

Hello CMacneill,

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding this matter.

May I kindly ask if you could check if you have a keyboard shortcut set under ctrl-c in RDM? To check that, you can navigate to File, then Preferences, followed by User Interface, and finally, Keyboard.

Please let me know if this helps.

Best regards,

Hi CMacneill,

I don't know if it's the same issue as yours but I have this bug when another app is "catching" the control key before RDM. In my case it's gnome-tweaks.

I made a fix for this and it'll be available in 2023.1.1.5. In the mean time, you could check if another app might be interfering with the control key.
