Connecting to MacBook from iPad Air 5 using Magic Keyboard - shift and other modifier keys not recognized
Connecting to my MacBook Pro running current version of Ventura over ARD from RDM on my iPad Air (5th ed). I successfully get connected as far as seeing the MacBook’s lock screen, but I’m unable to login using my Magic Keyboard. I have to disconnect the iPad, and use the soft keyboard to enter my password.
Through testing, I’ve determined that the problem is caused because none of the modifier keys on the keyboard seem to work, i.e., if I press Shift+t , it comes out as lowercase t. Shift+/ is still /. and so on. The on-screen ones provided in the RDM window don’t work either with the hardware keyboard. I literally cannot get an uppercase letter unless I switch to the soft keyboard.
The soft keyboard generally works as expected..
