Migration data between Personal Devolutions Cloud and Devolution server

Are you using RDM as well? If so all of your entries can be easily exported from your Hub Personal data source by following the steps listed here https://kb.devolutions.net/how-to-import-and-export-entri.html. Once this is done, they can be imported into your Devolutions Server data source.

You can export your entries from the web interface of the Password Hub Personal by going to Tools > Export, and then exporting them to a json file


Please note that to import them in Devolutions Server, however, you will need to use RDM, since only .rdm can be used to import entries in the web interface of Devolutions Server.

Alternatively, you can install RDM now, and with the free version, you can export your entries as an .rdm file, as my colleague James mentioned above.

RDM export data from personal HUB perfect and Dev server import them. Everythink was in a flash. Thank you.

I migrated the data from the Personal Password HUB to the Dev server. In PPHUB, I had the option to add my own items (, which migrated correctly and now I cannot edit them, and they are not offered even for elements in the Dev server. Is that right?

Did you import the entries in a shared vault, or in your user vault? In your user vault, you have the equivalent of admin rights, so it should be possible to edit them without issue.

In a shared vault, you may have the rights to import / add entries, but not edit them. If you click on an entry, and click on the permission tab, does it show a green checkmark for the edit permission?

I have admin account and I have all rights. I am talking about this. In Personal HUB, you have custom fields. If you export this item from Personal HUB and import into Dev server, you are able to see everything but these custom fields you are not able to edit.

Is there some equivalent custom fields in Dev server?

Unfortunately, custom fields are not editable from the web interface of Devolutions Server, you would need to use RDM to be able to modify them.

No need to post your request in our feature request, this has already been implemented internally, I was just notified. You will be able to modify the custom fields in the web interface in the 2023.1 release of Devolutions Server.
