Hi,
one of the things that I got a lot of questions or complaints from our users is why does RDM freeze so often/not show "wait cursor" or "hourglass" or any other sign of activity when e.g. changing the vault or refreshing the cache. Our vaults grew way too big and that is why changing the vault takes quite a bit (>30 sec) and users get curious if RDM freezes. I think that this "feature" is missing from the beginning and I was wondering are we the only ones experiencing this issue?
Best regards,
Rok
Hello Rok,
Changing vault should take a few seconds at most. Did you have the same behavior when using the web interface?
Could you perform the following steps to send us a performance report, as well as provide us with your RDM and Devolutions Server versions.
1.Open Help – Profiler, move the window aside to clear the main window of Remote Desktop Manager.
2.Select the Performance tab.
3.In Remote Desktop Manager, hold the CTRL key and press the refresh button.
4.Information will be added in the Performance tab.
5.Click on the Send Trace to Support button. In the following dialog, ensure you specify enough information to link the report to the appropriate ticket, if the process was started from the forum, please include your forum username.
As for the feature request for a wait cursor, I will verify with the engineering team if it is on roadmap.

Hello Rok,
In a Hub data source, there is a status bar notifying you the data is loading, but it appears to be missing with a DVLS data source. I have created an internal ticket so the engineering team can investigate adding it.
