Session freezes up

Running Kubuntu 20.04 and using RDM to create a remote desktop session to a raspberry pi running Ubuntu Mate 20.04. If I change focus to something on my Kubuntu host, after a while my RDP session to my RPi will freeze up and I have to click on the 'x' on the tab and relaunch it. Wondering if there is any solution to this.

Hello. Yes that's correct. version 0.9.12. Running the session as an embedded one in RDM.

Hi,

Although I wasn't able to replicate your setup entirely, I did manage to get a session to freeze while in the background.
I've added a reconnect attempt when it happens. If the reconnect fails, the session will close.

I wasn't able to a fix in time to be included in the upcoming release (2022.2) but it will be available in the first patch release.
