RDM - View user vault entries keep asking for passphrase
Hello,
I am currently evaluating the linux version of RDM.
I am under a Ubunty 21.04, up to date (and "fresh" install)
I am with the latest available RDM.
Connected to a Database, also on the database for the licensing.
When I connect to the datasource for the first time, I get prompt for a passphrase, which I fill in and everything works fine.
But when I want to switch to the "user vault entries" view... I kept being prompt for the passphrase, which is the same, and which I already enter.
Even when I enter it, it says it's the wrong one.... and keeps asking.
What am I doing wrong ?

Hi,
I don't think you are doing anything wrong, looks like a bug.
The main vault asked for a password, does it ever ask you again or is it limited to the user vault?
What type of data source are you connecting to, what version?

I cannot tell you exact value, as I don't have access to those informations. All I can tell you is that my windows version does connect absolutely fine, with just a question about the passphrase the very first time I connect?

(but the datasource is a database running on a linux... that so small it is, I can tell you !)

We've seen these kind of problem when switching between RDM 2020 and 2021.
It's a long shot but would you still be running RDMW 2020.x ?

No, my linux RDM version is 2021.2.1.2 ....
2021.2 on Windows too?

It does work now....
So, still have to found out how to work with "openvpn" entries..... it's working flawless under windows..... still did not found how to make it work nice under linux... :-D

Glad to know you can at least access your user vault.
Unfortunately, VPN support hasn't been implemented in RDM Linux yet. They aren't as straight forward to work with as they are on Windows.
