Markdown in documentation

Hi

Please see attached image for further information.

When creating a documentation page, the "View" isn't idential in RDM and DVLS Web.
And, I can't use \ to create a new line after an image, the \ is just show instead, and if I have an empty line under it the whole page gets ekstra unwanted linespace.
Here is with linespace:

(The down left window is DVLS running as an Edge app, in case the it looks confusing)

I tried using an online editor it does the same with the linespacing, so is images just not a good thing with markdown or do I do something in an impractical way.
