Hi
We like the fact that Devolutions has native user accounts to login and also that it can be setup with 2FA.
It is our preferred login, to make sure we are not dependant of other account services to be working, in order to log into an important system like DVLS.
But we would really like an option to link our domain users and office365 users to our DVLS custom user. (link multiple credentials to the same user entity)
As we would like the option to also login using Windows Authentication or office365 authentication, and always have our DVLS custom user login as fallback credentials.
If we create both domain user and office365 user now, then we will end up with 3 individual accounts on the DVLS server, and they will have different private/user vaults, which would not make sense for our users.
Is this possible?
Hello,
In the January release, you'll be able to enable a mode where a magic link CAN be sent by email to circumvent identity provider (IdP) outages. This is our solution since User Vaults are encrypted for each individual users.
Do you feel that will be sufficient?
Best regards,
Maurice
We are considering deploying DVLS company wide. Azure typically has about two IdP related SSO issues per year and we would need to have a backup in case authentication through the IdP goes down. I didn't see anything in the settings or release notes for version 2022.1.12.0 or earlier, is this functionality you explained available or still in development?
Hello,
Not implemented yet, and we are trying to find the time to make it fit in the June Release.
Sorry about that
Maurice
