Hi All
Were looking for a Seal Function which allows to create a Seal on Entries.
When a User is breaking the Seal to reveal the Password it should be possible to inform People via Mail.
Is there already a function like this existent or planned in near future?
Best Regards,
Andreas
Hello Andreas,
There is no seal feature, but you can configure a notification on the entry. This way, you will receive a notification (email or syslog) whenever the entry is used (viewed, password viewed, session is launched, etc.).
It can be found under Administration > Notifications > Subscriptions. You will need to create a subscriber beforehand, however.
You can then create a new notification and select the entry you wish to be notified on.

Hi Richard
Thank you very much for this Input, that worked.
But is there an option, which an user can setup on his entries without administration permission?
It would be a pain if there are hundrets of critical entries which only can be configured by a server administrator.
Best Regards,
Andreas
Hello Andreas,
Thank you for your swift reply!
Unfortunately, this is the only workaround available at this time. That being said, I took the liberty of moving your forum topic to the feature request section of our forum. I will also contact our Engineering Department to see if it would be possible to add an entry seal feature.

Hello Andreas,
We just released a new version with a feature that could help you with what you asked before. We added a feature called "user subscription". All users can subscribe on an entry to receive an email if there is an action on an entry (modified, opened, password viewed, etc.). All user can see this interface and subscribe to what they want on an entry.
If you want to get this new BETA version, you can follow instruction here : https://forum.devolutions.net/topics/37615/version-2022230-june-20th-2022
Don't hesitate if you have questions/comments,
