probably I am doing something wrong since nobody asked this question - how do we get wayk client to have a "dynamic" resolution - I am expecting this kind of feature when using Virtual Login Session. In "Physical session" and especially "Active Session" I understand that computers setting should be to kept for the "user experiance reasons" but in unattended remote session to a vitual server, a XGA is not something we could use for our type of work...
Is there any way to write audit event on an agent side in eventlog, would be very usefull to have a separate Windows Event Log or in security event log?

"Virtual" sessions create a local RDP session "under the hood". While RDP 8 does support dynamic display resolutions, we have not implemented it on our side yet. There is an open ticket for that and I'll add your +1 to the feature request.
In the meantime, if it helps, virtual sessions currently try to detect the resolution of the primary monitor on the remote system and use that for the session resolution. If it can't be detected (or no monitor is attached), it defaults at 1280x720. It *is* possible to override this and specify a custom resolution, so that might help you. Are you using the standalone Wayk Client or RDM to connect?
We don't put any audit information directly onto the Windows event log. It's likely that auditing improvements will focus on Wayk Bastion, although we're open to making improvements on the Agent as well. Are you using a private Wayk Bastion? What kind of information are you looking to see?

we are using RDM Wayk sessions, I didn't find any setting for display resolution (and probably this will affect all users since user specific setting will not have this option to override)...
RDM version is 2020.3.29.0, Wayk Bastion is on-prem:
Regarding audit trail - we want to have an option to tell our customers, you can fetch all audit events on your server from... (preferably an eventlog, afaik it is not hard to implement if it is running as a service)... Yes, we could export from Bastion or grant access to customers to view their tenant, but this is a secondary option (we are looking for an option to close down access to the admin console from the internet)...

I just checked and the virtual desktop resolution override is actually in Options > Types > Wayk Client. I attached a screenshot to demonstrate that.
This means that it's overridden globally for all connections. While that matches the behaviour of the standalone Wayk Client, it's not correct for RDM where this should clearly be a per-connection setting. I'll file a bug for that now and post back here once I have some news.
In the meantime - it may still be helpful if you wish to globally get a higher default resolution for your virtual sessions.
What kind of events are you looking to see in the event log?
