Rename or Allow Customization of "RADIUS Code" Text

When enabling RADIUS authentication, the 2nd factor prompt in Devolutions Server uses the following verbiage:

  • "Please enter a Radius code"
  • "The Radius passcode is required"

This often confuses our users, who know about MFA/2FA but have never heard the term RADIUS before. I think it would make more sense to either:

  • Allow administrators to change the text to something custom OR
  • Change this verbiage to "two-factor" code or possibly "2FA" as the "Reset 2FA" button uses this terminology.

As long as I've been in IT, I've never heard of anyone referencing a 2nd factor for RADIUS as a "RADIUS Code" :)

See the attachment for a screenshot of this.

sorry about the delay, we talked about your request internally and simply forgot to reply to you.

We will definitely change the label

Hi Maurice, is this change slated for the next release? Just wondering.

Also, while testing Devolutions Server v2020.3.17.0, the Radius code box seems to have grown and has additional whitespace below it. This is strictly cosmetic, but wanted to let you know.

Upvote for make the RADIUS request string customizable.
This will be able us to add important information about the custom MFA process in our RADIUS server.

Do you think that is something you can evaluate for next releases?
