Am I missing something or does copy/paste not work in SSH or RDP sessions?
It seems that within RDP I can copy and paste anywhere, but something copied from outside of that session cannot be pasted in.
In SSH I can copy and paste anywhere outside of RDM, but not within that SSH session.
It would be nice as well if the highligh + middle-click button was recognized as that's generally a universal "copy/paste" in X11.
(I wouldn't expect this to work inside RDP but definitely would expect it in an SSH session)
Hi,
You should be able to copy.paste to and from an RDP session.
If you are not, something is off.
Make sure the clipboard in enabled in the RDP entry settings under the "Local Devices and Resources" tab.
We currently do not have middle-click copy/paste.
I'll add this to our TODO list.
In the meantime, you can use ctrl-shift-c and ctrl-shift-v to copy/paste text to and from an SSH session.

Got it, thanks. I was able to get Copy/Paste working within RDP by un-checking/re-checking the "Clipboard" option and re-saving the entry.
As for SSH, it seems like the Ctrl key isn't being captured at all. I confirmed by using tmux as none of the macros work.
On the RDP Side, I noticed that only the Ctrl key on the right side works, the left ctrl key is ignored.
My system is pretty "vanilla", Ubuntu 20.04 with the default Gnome desktop. US 104-key standard keyboard.
Obviously everything works as expected within the Remote Desktop Manager app, e.g. I can copy/paste use the Control Keys when editing entries.
My issues appear only inside sessions.
I partially figured it out - I had "Locate Pointer" enabled in Gnome Universal Access which binds to the Left Ctrl key, disabled that and (Left)Ctrl+Shift+C/V works.
Right Ctrl is still not functional in SSH.
I can confirm right ctrl is not doing much in SSH.
You can also try to copy/paste from and to an rdp session, that should also now work.

Confirmed, I can copy/paste using those methods in both RDP and SSH. Thanks for your help!
Glad to know almost everything, i'm looking at you right ctrl, is working fine!

I had the similar issues in RDM Free 2020.3.1.0 on Pop!_OS 20.10 and 20.04.
Left CTL does not capture in SSH sessions and Right CTL was sketchy at best.
Running KDE Neon 5.20 now and its working but I have other issues on Neon, have opened a ticket.
I'll have to test with Pop!_OS to figure this one out.
