raspbian arm64 support?

avatar

just wondering if RDM will support arm64 at all?
ive seen the download is an amd64 deb package
but oversally the raspberry pi's use arm64 not amd64 ?

it would be amazing to get RDM to run on the raspberry pi!
i could create a portable support desktop which autostarts the rdm on start up and auto logs in etc!

Hi,

I think mono does support amr64 so if the rest of our native dependencies also do, I it should be possible.
I'll create a ticket and add this to our backlog.

Hi Jonathan,

That would be interesting. I'm happy to do some beta-testing if you would consider supporting RDM on Raspberry pi

Kind regards,

David

Would love to know how this is going? I have a chrome book that uses ARM64 architecture (mediatek chip), and would love to try and run this in the linux container that allows to run linux apps instead of running the android app.

Hi,

Unfortunately, not very fast, as some of our native libraries do not support ARM64 yet, slowing our efforts.

Hi,

No real progress unfortunately, we are still waiting for all our dependencies to support ARM64.
