KeePass Import and DWL Behavior (DWL Enabled but Blank URL)
Hi Devolutions folks,
There seems to be an ongoing issue between versions that's been preventing us from deploying Devolutions to our userbase. We are DPS/DWL only users (no RDM) and have observed the following behavior:
Our company is importing our credentials from KeePass. We pick the "Website" credential type for import since some of our entries do have URLs in their KeePass entries. Some of these entries do not have URLs specified though. After import, the entries all have "Enable Devolutions Web Login" checkbox checked by default, even if they have no URL in their entry.
The issue we are having is that these entries with no URL specified and "Enable Devolutions Web Login" are trying to autofill on all websites. Is this expected behavior? I would imagine that the behavior should be that it autofills nowhere if there is no URL specified. We saw this behavior with shared vaults on the previous version of DPS, and now I'm seeing it on private vaults on the latest version of DPS. Unfortunately we have so many entries in some of our KeePass DBs that it's not feasible to go to each of these entries and just unselect "Enable Devolutions Web Login". Some of us have hundreds of these entries.

Since we already have a ticket open internally on this issue, if you don't mind, we will keep updating you through the ticket to keep your case centralized in a single location. As I mentioned in the ticket earlier today, I have re-updated our engineering team to notify them that the issue persisted after the upgrade and I have asked our QA team to test again with the new version in hopes that we will be able to replicate the issue to find its cause.

For other users who might be experiencing a similar problem, we were able to locate the cause of this issue.
If the URL in a web entry is blank, and the "Matching" option is set to "Starts With" in your DWL/DVLS settings, DWL will display this entry for all websites, as all of them will meet the matching criteria.
This Matching options can be changed by going to the following page :
