How do get rid of "View" in Web

Hello,
We could add an option to hide the one in the overview but I would like to know why you want to hide it? I can explain you the difference. #2 will show the username and password (in your case you don't have the password) and #1 will only show the password. Perhaps something is missing in #1?

yes, 1 is missing security.

If I use: "Comment on view password", 1 will ignore this setting
If I use: "Check Out", 1 will ignore this setting
If I use: "Check Out Prompt", 1 will ignore this setting

I can remove 1 by removing permission "View password", but then users are not able to Check Out and View anyway ...

yes, please provide a fix for this feature and please keep me informed.

I was messing around with all sorts of entry-types and security settings for weeks now to get my project running, but it stumbled from one issue into another.

We simply try to create password-entries that are watched/protected/logged and a user has to give a explicit reason for usage.
First I tried obviously "Comment on Password ...", but you can circumvent it by using DPS Web instead of RDM
Then James suggested to use "Check Out Prompt", which works in DPS Web and RDM but it's only an optional comment and not enforcing a statement.
But we settled with this, and now, we detected this issue with "View" in Username/Password-Entry in Web circumventing "Comment on Password ..." and "Check Out Prompt" ...

Can you understand how annoying this is?

we are working on it right now,
the issue will be solved on our next version 2020.3.9 which should be release in the next 2 weeks.
