Hello,
I am currently evaluating Wayk and would like to post some questions here as I go along.
Should Wayk be able to log into Windows automatically?
Can I use Wayk without Den, as it is my understanding that Den requires each computer to log into it, meaning there is some data saved in the cloud?
What data is saved in the cloud without the Den?
Can I configure Wayk to work inside of RDM, as a tabbed session (I wasn't able to achieve this yet)?
Is there some help document/site that describes how to use Wayk with RDM?
Hello D_Admin,
I would first recommend you read the recent announcements regarding Wayk Now and Wayk Den, available on our blog: https://blog.devolutions.net/2020/10/a-whole-new-wayk-the-future-of-wayk-den and https://blog.devolutions.net/2020/10/a-whole-new-wayk-the-future-of-wayk-now
Should Wayk be able to log into Windows automatically?
If you use unattended mode, it can, but you will require Wayk Den with an Enterprise version of Wayk Now (a trial of 3 months is available).
Can I use Wayk without Den, as it is my understanding that Den requires each computer to log into it, meaning there is some data saved in the cloud?
Wayk Den is a solution on premise, so Wayk Now will communicate with your own server. The exception would be if you run the VM on the cloud, such as Azure.
What data is saved in the cloud without the Den?
Using the public Den, there a logs of the connectivity to it as well as the handshake when a session is established between the clients.
Can I configure Wayk to work inside of RDM, as a tabbed session (I wasn't able to achieve this yet)?
This is easier with unattended mode, which requires Wayk Den. You can add Wayk Den (Wayk Bastion is the new name) and Wayk Clients as an entry in RDM:
Is there some help document/site that describes how to use Wayk with RDM?
There is no help currently, as the products are evolving in the coming weeks and months (see the blog posts), but it will be available afterwards.

Soooo in short, I should wait for the release of 2020.3 version?
I currently have the enterprise trial installed on two of our machines and was trying to log into windows automatically, much like RDP. Didn't work.
I am only interested into on premise solutions, and would like to implement a multi-tenant solution, to possibly replace Teamviewer, which we are currently using to access our customers machines.
However, I did not yet play with it much, I still didn't deploy the Wayk Den locally. Currently no idea which server I should take... have to first figure out what this thing does :D
Hello,
You can still create a Wayk Den to try out the capabilities of the software, but the next version will be significant.
You would need Wayk Den for the unattended mode since it is not available with the public Den.
For the multi-tenant solution, it will be one of the key features of version 2020.3, unless you want to make the server available on the Internet.
As for the server, you would need a server running either Windows 2019 (core or with UI) or Linux (we use Ubuntu internally).
Best regards,
Richard Boisvert
