First, thanks for adding a right-click option to get at the credentials. While I think a right-click copy would be better, this is a workable solution.
DESCRIPTION
The "Mask the password" button defaults to whatever the last state of the checkbox was, regardless of which entry you are viewing (and the first time, it is unselected).
WHAT IS EXPECTED TO HAPPEN:
When selecting "View Password" I would expect this popup to have the password masked.
WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS:
When the popup happens, the password is possibly unmasked, depending on the last password state.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
Thank you for the feedback.
I've created an issue to look at this.

Hi,
A new option will be available under Preferences -> User Interface to save or not the "Mask the password" state.
The default value will have the application behave like it did before.
Having the option unchecked will however cause "Mask the password" to always be checked when entering the View Password window.
This will be available in the upcoming 2020.3.0.0 release and other platforms will implement the same setting as the behavior was the same on all platforms.

nice. works as expected.
could you please add a feature request to force the password been masked (and hide/disable the option to unmask it) via GPO?
