Die Verbindung konnte nicht hergestellt werden

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,

wir haben momentan das Problem, dass sich die Supporter nicht bei den Benutzern anmelden können. Wir nutzen alle die Version 2020.2.6 und machen die Verbindungen über unser Firmen-Netzwerk statt über WaykDen. Das Problem tritt seit der Aktualisierung vom Programm und deren globalen Konfigurationsdatei auf. Wir nutzen zudem unabhängig den Remote Desktop Manager, aber auch darüber kann keine Verbindung hergestellt werden. Zuerst kommt das Fenster mit dem Zertifikat und anschließend direkt die Fehlermeldung „Die Verbindung konnte nicht hergestellt werden“.

Hi,

There seems to be an issue with the system service, can you try restarting it on the server?

net stop WaykNowService
net start WaykNowService

Otherwise, it is possible that an old saved credential in the client could be the cause if it gets picked up for auto login. You can manage saved credentials under Options -> Credentials, then click "Manage credentials".

Hello

In addition to what my colleague wrote, it seems you are trying to use Prompt for Password authentication (`AllowNoPassword`).

Can you confirm that WaykNow.exe is running on the machine that you wish to connect to?

WaykNow.exe must be running in order for PFP to work - it's required to display the confirmation UI to the user.
