Hi,
i want to switch my users to O365-Authentication.
It's already set up and working, but all my users are created with AD-Authentication.
How can I migrate them without delete and create every user and manually transfer all PV&User specific settings?
Kind Regards
Markus

Hi Markus,
Are all the AD accounts in DPS created with the exact same format of your actual O365 usernames?

Hi Markus,
Could you please send an email to ticket@devolutions.net? I will then send you the instructions to migrate your domain accounts to O365 accounts to avoid manually recreating all accounts and exporting/importing user's PV and USS.

Hello,
@everyone, when migrating from AD Authentication to Office365 authentication, it's not just about migrating user accounts to O365 authentication.
All roles created from AD groups will also have to be migrated to be bind to Azure AD groups. Otherwise, all permissions based on roles from AD groups will not work anymore with O365 user accounts. For now, it is possible to migrate them using the RDM PowerShell module. The following forum thread contains the script to update the role's name and update all permissions in the data source with this new role.

If you need assistance for this migration from AD to O365, don't hesitate to contact us at ticket@devolutions.net.
