Hi,
I want to know how to use the delegation login method in Wayk Now. I'm trying to connect remotely to my desktop, but I don't know what's the correct user name and password. I tried several logins but I had no sucess.
Could you clarify what are the username and password that should be used? This type of login only appears when the desktop is restarted. If someone do the login on the desktop for me I just have to insert the wayk now password, that works every time.
Thanks.
Hello
I'm assuming the server is running Windows? The SRD credentials are Windows user credentials; and specifically, the user must be a member of one of: administrators, remote desktop users or wayk-users. If you're using a domain account, you'll need to specify that (e.g. domain\username).
Hopefully that helps but if not, please let us know which version of Windows you are using (version and edition - e.g. Home, Pro, etc) and whether the machine is domain-joined or not, and we can provide some further guidance.
Regarding the authentication options: SRD is the only authentication type we support for "unattended" access (i.e. the machine does not have a logged-on user). Once someone logs into the machine and the Wayk Now client is launched; this is what we call "attended" access - SRP and PFP authentication will now be available.
I hope it helps but if you have further questions, please don't hesitate to post again.
