Putting Wayk Den through a PoC. We have Den set up locally. Works fine, clients pick it up. For external use it is behind a reverse proxy. The admin interface is accessible, but the clients can't get to it - "Disconnected from Wayk Den". Do I need anything other than port 443 for clients to our Wayk Den instance?
Hi,
This sounds like an issue with your reverse proxy and WebSocket connections. All you really need for Wayk Den, excluding additional Devolutions Jet Relay servers, is to expose Wayk Den through HTTPS/443. However, HTTPS/443 is mixed with WSS/443, so you need to make sure that you reverse proxy supports WebSockets and is configured to let it go through correctly.
Can you give me more details about the reverse proxy you are using, and your deployment scenario? Are you handling TLS in your reverse proxy, which means Wayk Den listens in HTTP/WS behind the reverse proxy?
Best regards,
Marc-André Moreau
Sorted, thanks!
Think it was websockets like you mentioned, it needs to be enabled. Though I also had a misconfig on my part with the jump server.
