Wayk Crash

From my side I tried something similar - I connected to a Windows 10 4k desktop from an underpowered Ubuntu 19 VM running at 800 x 600, and it worked ok (as "ok" as you would expect from such a setup, anyway).

Support for high DPI - including the APIs - is something that's very fractured on Windows. I'll need to try this on a Windows 8 system to see if there's something about how we handle high DPI on that platform.

Do you have any other machine you can try connecting to your desktop from, and report the results?

okay color me confused, for some random reason it didnt crash this time (at least after trying other platforms), I have restarted neither PC since then and I have NO Idea what went on here.

and even weirder, my linux wayk now says wayk den connectivity disabled (I didnt disable anything) yet I can still connect to my PC via den-ID, now I'm REALLY confused.

Ok, please let us know if you manage to reproduce that again. On Windows we do have the capability to automatically capture crash dumps in cases like that and a future release will likely extend that capability to Linux; but we don't have it yet.

The Den status in the application window is taken from the unattended service - the client makes a separate connection to Wayk Den for outgoing connections. So it's not surprising that you can make an outgoing connection even if the status implies otherwise.

Sadly it's not supported full stop on other platforms than Windows right now.
