There's some preferences missing that would greatly improve usability for pros offering support:

  1. An option to always send keyboard shortcuts to the remote host. It's bothersome having to set it in each session
  2. Auth Type: I really prefer Prompt For Permission authentication, I wish I could set it as default.

Also in the current situation I have to support users on a mix of corporate and personal machines. An easy way to switch between private and public Wayk Den servers would be great.

Hello

Thanks for the feedback.

  1. I've added this as a setting; there is no UI currently but you can configure it easily enough on your client either via the command-line or by manually editing your .cfg file. That should make it into the forthcoming 2020.1.5 release, but I'll post back here with more news.
  2. I understand the desire for that; I've entered a feature request in our product backlog and you can expect that in a forthcoming release. Again, I'll post back here with any updates.

We are currently focusing on shipping version 3 of the peer-to-peer protocol that drives Wayk Den. That should be implemented in our next major release (likely the next release *after* 2020.1.5) and greatly simplifies Wayk Den integration on the client. We will use that as the basis for "multi-den" improvements, but at this time I can't say exactly what will change in Wayk Now and Remote Desktop Manager. If you have specific requests or ideas or can explain your ideal workflow, we will certainly take your comments onboard.

Please let me know if you have further questions or feedback

Thanks and kind regards,

that's honestly awesome. especially having the ability to set PFP as default really is great.

Hello

Wayk Now 2020.1.5 is now available, and contains a setting for controlling the default value of the "Apply Key Combinations" option. It's not configurable via the UI, but you can set it on the command line or directly in your client .cfg file. For example:

wayk-now config ApplyKeyCombinations 1

Where the values are:

On this Computer = 0,
On the Remote Computer = 1,
Only in Fullscreen = 2

As always, if you have any further questions or comments on that, please don't hesitate to post back here.

Thanks and kind regards,

is there also an option "only while wayk is in focus" or is that already assumed in 1?

Hello

No keyboard input will be sent to the remote system unless the Wayk Now session window has focus.

Thanks and kind regards,
