Hi,

could you please implement a single sign on for the password server web interface with windows authentication?
With RDM it works, but we have a lot of users who do not use RDM and only the web interface.

Thanks and greetings,
Ingo

Hello,
This is a good question. I'm not sure if it's supported in modern browser like Firefox, Chrome and Edge Chromium. Do you have any other product that support that web based?

Hi,

i am talking about the onPremise Password Server.
And i think most of the onPremise solutions have a single sign on.

Sharepoint, Atlassian Confluence, BIC Cloud (onPrem), ServiceDesk from Matrix42, and so on...

Hi,
I had the same request before some months and I got told that it is not possible and not planned to implement something like that ...

Hi,
thats why i am asking for a feature request.
Maybe some other customers would like to have this too and it will be placed on list.

Well, we would need this as well :-)

Hello,

I will create a todo for that. Just to let you know that I'm not sure if it will be simple to do.

Thank you :-)

Good morning,

we'd like for this to be available as well. We're using Edge Chromium with on-premise products and nearly everything works with SSO Windows authentication.

Hi,

We worked a lot in the login process and we are still working to improve different things. We already plan to improve our login page, we could probably add an option with windows authentication. I can't promise anything, but we will have a look if it could be possible to implement a such feature in the next few months.

We implemented some new systems on-prem and have been using kerberos for sso.
Kerberos had to be activated for the browsers via Group-Policy and works flawless.
Surely you could implement something in the line.

Hi,

Are you looking for the same kind of Kerberos SSO used in Windows Admin Center, or something different?

Hi,

I have done some investigation into this, and think it should be possible to add an "integrated" Windows authentication mode to completement the current Windows authentication mode that requires entering the full credentials. You will still need to select Windows authentication from the DVLS web login, but once implemented, it shouldn't prompt and do the Kerberos SSO automatically instead. I have done a quick proof of concept to show it could be done and logged and internal ticket with notes, but we don't have an ETA of when we'll get to work on it.
