Password Loss

Password Loss

Hello
We have the Problem, that we lost a Password and we don't know why. May you can Tell us why the Password history doesn't show the Password.
In the Picture you can see the Error.




I had to restore the Whole RDM VM and Database to get the password back, but we are really shocked that this happened...
Can you tell us how this could happen?

Hello,

After reviewing the picture it seems that the password has been removed from the entry. This seems to be more an edit entry issue than a password history.

When credentials are deleted the password history is not replacing the old password by a new password. Because the new password is empty. That said, if you right-click on the entry and go to Entry history you might be able to view the edited session and restore it.



So the credentials will be restored. That said, I will look with the engineering department if we can improve our password history.
