literally just found out that the dashboard exists and it seems kinda nice to keep eye on or just have online bookmarks of the machines you manage or often remote in.

so basically the idea consists of 3 parts:

1) add new entries directly in the dashboard (obviously without big info like last online time or whatever)
2) remove entries when needed (I havent seen a remove button so far)
3) add a description to entries, a computer name doesnt always make sense alone.

Hi,

The dashboard functionality is currently limited to listing Wayk Now unattended machines that were previously registered, and it is not meant as a cloud bookmark solution which you could manually add/remove entries. If you wish to maintain a list of connection entries, Remote Desktop Manager would likely be a better fit.

As for improvements in terms of displayed information, we are working on the Wayk Den on-premises product (https://github.com/devolutions/WaykDen-ps). Without providing a time estimate, we do plan on making the new features available in the Wayk Den on-premises available at some point in the cloud version, such that organizations could register and get their own Wayk Den cloud deployment hosted by us if they prefer as opposed to their own deployment.

okay, would have been awesome to have it especially since the online dashboard is almost perfect for that and having to use a completely seperate tool (or an entire extra den) for that seems kinda overkill at least to me.

Hi,

I agree, which is why we are planning on making advanced features of the Wayk Den on-premises available in the cloud version as well as a replacement for the current Wayk dashboard. However, our current focus is on developing the Wayk Den on-premises, collecting feedback from the first users, and then moving on to the cloud version.

okay this is interesting sure but I think a proper dashboard allows for more flexibility especially if/when you have to seperate certain groups and/or cant expect people to connect to custom dens, and den-hopping probably isnt something awesome.
