Personal Vault as a Credential Source

Personal Vault as a Credential Source

Hi

In RDM, when setting up a remote desktop connection, we can specify that the credentials should come from the agent's personal vault. This is great when each staff member has their own login to a shared remote computer.

In Hub, you must specify a shared password for everyone to use. This doesn't really work for us.

Or am I missing something?

Thanks

Hi Travis,

Your right on a session in Hub you can only set credential in the entry. No user specific setting.

Password Hub is more a Password Manager to store and share Credential, Website and Sensitive information.
And yes you can store certain remote Session and open them with the Companion tools Devolutions Launcher.

Is it the Launcher you wanted to try ?

Thanks

Maybe you can add something that you can atleast setup that you can get a prompt to use credentials from another Vault. That way you don't need to have the same password in all hubs (and forget to change one).

That would be great !

I would like this feature as well. Being able to set the entry to select a credentials with a certain name in a personal cred vault would work out very nice.

Just to inform you that since the latest version of Password Hub there are different types of credential available that can be set per entry. including User vault by name.
