Hi ,Team
I use the free wayk Now,but I changed the language to traditional Chinese.The Wayk Now can't execution
My OS is Windows 8 (I tried the Windows7 or 10,but have same work).
Hello,
Can you confirm you are running the latest version of Wayk Now (3.1.1)? You can download the latest version from our website to make sure.
Please let me know if you still have an issue with the latest version, and sorry for the inconvenience,
Richard Markievicz
YES!!!!I used the 3.1.1,the traditional Chinese can't working!!!!
Hello,
Thanks for checking that - there was an issue with the Chinese localization in an older version, so that's why I wanted you to check.
What happens when you open Wayk Now? Is there an error message displayed? Does the application start?
The configuration file is in %APPDATA%\Wayk\WaykNow.cfg. You can open that file, and locate the language setting:
"Language": "zh-TW",
Try changing it back to English:
"Language": "en",
Then open the application again. Does it work again? What happens if you change back to Traditional Chinese again?
Thank you, and sorry for the inconvenience

I have the same situation. I did some testing..
1. Wayk Now 3.1.1 in Windows 7
If the language is set to Chinese Traditional or Chinese Simplified, then Wayk Now will crash immediately after startup. If it is set to English or other languages, there will be no problem.
2. Wayk Now 3.1.1 in Windows 10
No matter what language is set, there is no problem.
3. Wayk Now 3.0.3 in Windows 7
No matter what language is set, there is no problem.
Hi
Thanks very much for investigation. I did try both 3.1 and 3.1.1 on Windows 7, but the app was able to start in both Chinese Traditional and Chinese Simplified. Clearly this is not working right for everyone, though, and I'd like to fix that.
When the app crashes - what happens? Is there an error message, a freeze, something else?
Can you try to capture a log file for me? You will need to set the language back to English (using the steps above), and then enable logging. The steps are outlined in this article: https://helpwayk.devolutions.net/kb_logs.htm. Then, you can change the language back to Chinese Traditional, and relaunch the app. After reproducing the crash, you can retrieve the logs from %APPDATA%\Wayk\Logs, and send them to support@devolutions.net.
Thank you for your help,
Richard Markievicz
After the Wayk Now be run (with Chinese Traditional), it crash immediately. There are two logs generated in the event viewer. I've send logs to support@devolutions.net, please check it.
Hello,

Hello,
We've implemented a fix for this, and it will be in the next release. I will post back here once that's available.
Thank you both for the bug report and help tracking the issue down.
