Hello
We are using SMS Passcode for 2FA on other systems. It's based on RADIUS, where SMS Passcode is sending the token to a mobile device.
My feature request: It would be cool if SMS Passcode could be used as 2FA for Devolutions Password Server / Remote Desktop Manager.
Thank you!
Hello,
We do support both sms and radius as independant 2FA providers. https://helpserver.devolutions.net/2fasetting_summarydialog.htm?zoom_highlightsub=2fa
The way you describe it, your RADIUS provider is sending an SMS?
Please provide more information if our current implementation does not meet your needs.
Best regards,
Maurice
Hello Maurice
The product name is SMS Passcode.
It's core component is installed on a NPS server, which intercepts RADIUS requests and send the passcode to a mobile device. The passcode is received by app or SMS.
For confirming the second factor, the received passcode has to be entered after login with a second authentication window.
We use it for MFA login to Citrix and Outlook Web Access.
Integration to Remote Desktop Manager would help us to keep one MFA solution over all entry points.
Best regards, John
Hello,
Thank you for providing us with that information. We will add this to our list of things to evaluate.
