Upgrade RDM 13.0.6 to 13.5.0 - SQL Database upgrade ?
Hi,
I read in the RDM 13.5.0 changelog that a SQL database upgrade is needed.
Does that mean that "old' RDM 13.0.6 clients are not able to access the SQL database anymore once the database is upgraded ?
I've downloaded 13.5.0 and want to try it before I deploy it to the rest of the organisation.

Yes they will be able to read the old database but please make sure to backup your database before the upgrade just in case.

Hello Ron,
the 13.0.6 clients can continious work and connect to the upgraded db - here you can find more details why the database upgrade is sometimes required.
It is strongly recommend to make a backup from your databse before you run the update!
