DVLS as serial repository

Hi!

We're planning on start using DVLS and forcing our contractors to use RDM to connect to our systems, the only remaining hurdle is that if we give them the serialnumber for RDM or give them a prepackaged version they can use it until our corporate license expires.

We would really like to have a option to let DVLS sendout the serial when a unlicensed RDM connects and depending on setting in usermanager in DVLS lock RDM to only that datasource and automatically expire the license if RDM doesnt authenticate with DVLS within x time, which can be 14 days or 1 month or so.

This way we ensure that our 'pool' of licenses isnt exausted and that the external contractor doesnt make use of our license in other areas.

Dont know if the above would invalidate any license rules currently though.

Is it doable already or would it be possible to get something like this incorporated?
